It is an honor to inform you of two new employees joining the Multiplication Team of the South Carolina Baptist Convention in August.
Daryl Price will provide leadership to the Church Multiplication Group effective Monday, August 3. Daryl and his wife, Kim, have been married for 18 years and have two children, Will, 15, and Hannah, 12. Daryl and his family are moving from Augusta, Georgia where he has served as North American Mission Board appointed Church Starting Strategist for the Georgia Baptist Convention for the past 7 years. Previously, he was the Church Planting Pastor of Hunter Road Baptist Church in Catawba, GA. Daryl is a graduate of Augusta College and Southwestern Seminary.

Lance Wright has accepted the call to serve as the Collegiate Minister for South Carolina State University and the surrounding Orangeburg campuses. Lance is originally from Monroe, Louisiana and is a graduate of Grambling State University, where he played football and was instrumental in helping to launch a Baptist Collegiate Ministry on campus. For the past two years, he has been a student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has served as a collegiate ministry intern with the Louisiana Baptist Convention at Southern University. Lance and his wife, Keli, are members of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, Baton Rouge campus, where Lance also serves as an associate minister. Lance plans to begin his work Wednesday, August 13. His service with the South Carolina Baptist Convention marks a significant milestone in that he will be the first South Carolina Baptist Convention employed collegiate minister to serve at a historically black college.
