God is at work in South Asia. We are celebrating more than 590 missions volunteers during the first three years of the South Carolina/South Asia Partnership! Is God calling you to be a mission volunteer in South Asia in 2008?
The South Asia region is made up of the countries of Bhutan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives and Pakistan. 25% of the world's lost population live in these countries. There are several ways that you can participate in the partnership.
Prayer
- Pray for plans that are being made for the partnership.
- Pray for the more than 1000 unreached people groups of South Asia.
- Pray for volunteers to respond to the invitation to participate in the 2007 projects.

2008 Projects
Project dates for 2008 are listed below. Pray about participating in a project such as Scripture distribution, prayerwalking, leadership training and personal evangelism. Approximate cost of a two-week project is $2700 (includes round-trip airfare, lodging, meals, insurance, visa and in-country transportation).

For all projects, obtain a passport or make sure your current passport is valid six months beyond the trip date. Applications and information are available at www.state.gov. Call your local health department and/or visit the Center for Disease Control web site (www.cdc.gov) for the latest immunization information.
