Dr. Rick M. Cole is now 40 years into his Christian walk having been saved at a Billy Graham crusade in Asheboro NC at the age of 7 and growing up in his local church.

Dr. Cole holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Relations with a disciplinary concentration or Minor in Business Administration, International Economics and Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  His graduate study programs include a variety of Business Leadership, Interpersonal Relationship and Biblical studies, seminars and classes leading to a seminary education and concluding in a Masters Degree in Ministry (M. Min.) and a Doctorate of Ministry (D. Min), both degrees in Biblical Counseling and Theology from Covington Theological Seminary. 

Rick has 25 years experience as an executive and business leader.  He has spent the majority of those years in the home furnishings industry, either as the President & CEO of Home Furnishings International or as a member of the board of several nationally known companies before founding the Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit Christian Family Counseling Center (MBSS) in order to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of hurting families. In addition to acting as the Executive Director of MBSS, Rick is an engaging speaker for HeavenQuest Ministries challenging people to think, use God’s standards to examine their lives, and take the actions necessary for real change.

Rick is a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors.  He is also affiliated with a number of Christian Counseling organizations among the more prominent are the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors, the American Association of Debt Management, the National Association of Certified Credit Counselors and the National Association of Christian Counselors.  He is also a member of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptist Convention, the North American Mission Board, Revival and Missions International and the National Association of Evangelicals.

As a public speaker for HeavenQuest Ministries,  Rick is available for speaking engagements, 2-4 day revivals, retreats, conferences, marriage seminars and evangelism and missions training.
