Saved at an early age, Jim and Lou Ellen surrendered to the full-time ministry in their teens. They met during their first year at Anderson University and began serving together at the age of 19, when Jim accepted the call to his first church as Minister of Music. After 10 years in the Music and Youth Ministry and 17 years as Pastor, they began their ministry in evangelism on September 1, 1998. Jim and Lou Ellen, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, formed Winning Our World (WOW) Ministries, Inc. on June 1, 1999. This is a family ministry program where in Revivals and Crusades, Jim preaches, Lou Ellen shares children’s sermons, and both sing.
Jim and Lou Ellen have held Revivals and Crusades all across America, from Key West, Florida to Seattle, Washington. They have been involved in both North American and International Mission trips.
The Osteens are also available for Revivals, Crusades, Walking Together Services, Youth and Senior Citizen’s meetings, God and Country services, Deacon training, Leadership training, Soul Winning conferences, Women’s conferences, Encouragement seminars, etc.
Jim is currently serving as the President of the South Carolina Southern Baptist Evangelists (2006-2008) and Lou Ellen is currently serving as the Secretary (2000-2007).
