DISASTER RELIEF CHAPLAINCY TRAINING

South Carolina Baptist Convention

May 16-17, 2008

Disaster Relief Chaplaincy Training will be conducted Friday, May 16 through Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. at Okatee Baptist Church.  This will be a book/practical application training.  All participants will be required to provide their own sleeping gear and toiletries to stay on-site.  Food will be provided by a South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief.  Training will be provided by NAMB.  CCE credit 10 hours.

Who may want to attend: Pastor, chaplain, teacher, mental health, social worker, MD, RN, Disaster Relief volunteer, law enforcement, fire, EMT, etc.

CISM training will be offered on May 14-15, 2008 at the same location prior to this event.

Dates:  Friday, May 16 through Saturday, May 17, 2008   
If a hurricane or other natural disaster interrupts the schedule, training will resume following the event.

Continuing Education Credit:  CCE credit  approved for 10 hours.You must attend entire event to receive credit.
