DISASTER RELIEF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH "THE BRIDGE"

During the off-season, many Disaster Relief (DR) volunteers like to hone their skills learned at the bi-yearly training conferences.  During this quiet time there are many things DR volunteers can do, for example: join in the many drills that are schedule through out the local communities sponsored by the Emergency Management Division, watch for available projects through your local association or the convention. 

South Carolina Baptist Convention along with the North Americian Mission Board (NAMB) sponsor a site called "The Bridge."  This site contains many projects that Disaster Relief volunteers, as individuals and as teams, may participate in.   If you or your group is interested in sparpening your skills or just want to help your community, please click on the link below and check out "The Bridge."
