Learn Your Craft. Worship Your Lord. Share Your Faith.

Learn exciting new ways to incorporate puppets, drama, clowning, interpretive movement and graphic arts
into your ministry from professional Christian artists.  Connect and be encouraged!

 

This event is open to anyone ages 10 - Adults.  Leaders are welcome to bring their groups, just note that all students grades 4-8 MUST be accompanied by adults in their classes. Registration is required for everyone, including the chaperones. Childcare is NOT provided.

Classes are offered in the tracks of Clowning, Drama/Graphic Designing, Puppetry, Interpretive Movement, and Outreach & Evangelism

CMF Performances - dance

Performance Opportunities

Your group may have an opportunity to perform during the weekend. The performance opportunity will be Friday evening 9:20-10:30 pm. Performances can be no longer than 7 minutes. Modesty will be expected with costumes and outfits, especially for dancers. All performances will be adjudicated during the session by faculty so that all present may see, hear, learn, and grow. To sign up your group for this opportunity, fill out and send in the CMF Performance Opportunity Form.

The conference will be held at White Oak Conference Center, located at 633 Mobley Highway, Winnsboro SC 29188.   The facilities includes an auditorium, Lecture Hall, classrooms, motel accommodations, Dining Hall, Hub Cafe' and recreation areas.  For those staying overnight at White Oak, linens and towels are provided in each room.

Matt Tullos - Worship Pastor

Matt Tulloos

Matt Tullos is a writer and minister who has written over 700 dramatic sketches for worship, 10 books and numerous video projects. He has served in various roles at LifeWay Christian Resources. Tullos' dramatic collections, Aha Moments for Worship and Actors Not Included compile his works from 1983-2002. He was the vangaurd editor of Let's Worship magazine produced by Lifeway Church Resources.

In 2006, he began serving as transitional pastor at Bluegrass Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee. In January, 2008, Tullos resigned his position at Lifeway to pastor at Bluegrass Baptist. Matt is currently serving at Bluegrass Baptist Church as the fulltime church pastor and has a tendency to really help people when they are in dire trouble with help from the Lord. He and his wife, Darlene, have four sons. Isaac, Jacob, Nathan and Caleb.

 

Russell & Kristi Johnson - Worship Leaders

As worship leaders and Christian artists, Russell and Kristi combine passion and energy in their contemporary rock music. This incredible couple has dedicated their lives to giving glory to God through their music ministry. Their inspirational music touches the lives of those around them so intimately that it stirs souls and moves hearts closer to God. Originally from Conway, SC, Russell and Kristi have been musicians all their lives and in the music industry for more than 10 years. Prior to the couple combining their talents, Kristi sang professionally for family variety shows, including The Carolina Opry. Russell grew up singing at church and also worked in professional theater as an audio engineer. Although Russell and Kristi grew up in the same town they didn’t begin dating until college at Coastal Carolina University and were married a year later. They have a son, Will, and a daughter, Sidney.
