 Assessment Process

Disclaimer:  Thank you for your interest in planting a church in South Carolina.  The following steps serve as a guide on your journey through the planting process. Completion of any or all steps does not guarantee a financial covenant relationship between the potential planter and the South Carolina Baptist Convention.  Call our office if you have questions. 

1. Complete the Pre-Assessment.  This is typically our first contact with you and you can answer the questions online at www.sctracking.org.  Click on Pre-Assessment Survey on the left.  Please read through all questions and answer them as clearly and completely as possible.  There is a save button installed to insure that if you need to stop the application at any time and return to it, you may do so.  You will also need to create a resume of your work, education, ministry experiences, etc.  This can be attached to the Pre-Assessment Survey above.

2.  Once we have received your Pre-Assessment and resume, we will e-mail you PLACE assessment codes for you and your spouse (if applicable).  This online assessment will look at your spiritual gifts, talents and strengths.  This will need to be completed within 2 weeks of receiving your codes.

3.  Once your PLACE results are received, the Church Multiplication Group will contact you to schedule a behavioral assessment with one of our trained assessors.  You and your spouse (if applicable) will need to allot a four-hour time slot to complete the assessment.  Children should not be present during the interview.

4.  After your behavioral assessment is completed, the Church Multiplication Group Director will review the results and contact you.
