Why did someone take all the stuffed animals and dolls with hair out of our preschool classrooms?
Such items can harbor germs and contribute to the spread of illness. Preschool toys should be washed and sanitized after each use, and obviously this would not be practical with stuffed animals or dolls with hair. It is recommended that dolls used in preschool classrooms have molded plastic heads without hair, and that stuffed animals not be available in the classrooms.
