This is a time when all the class focuses together on the Bible truths for the session. Children should be actively engaged during group time, not just “sitting and listening” to the teacher. In addition to hearing the Bible story, which may be presented in a variety of ways, children may also:
- sing a song related to the Bible truths being taught
- participate in a memory verse activity
- play a review game or answer questions about the Bible story
- practice using the Bible
- take part in an activity to help them apply the Bible truth
