It is best if children participate in corporate worship with their parents or other significant adults. This may be the only time children ever see their parents pray, sing, or read a Bible, and the only time the family is together at the church building. If a church chooses to separate children for their own worship time, the term “children’s worship” helps to convey what takes place during that time. The children are not a separate church, they are just worshipping in a different service.
