At what age should children learn the books of the Bible in order?
This is a skill most appropriate for children in 4th grade and up. Younger children can memorize the books of the Bible, but this is generally done through rote memory. Their reading level and cognitive development are not strong enough to make that knowledge useful for them. It is better to work with younger children on skills appropriate for their age level.
