While Empowering Kingdom Growth has been extremely positive in changing the thinking of many church leaders, still many churches are plateaued or declining. A new emphasis comes with the reorganization to continue to partner with strong churches in the fulfillment of their role to fulfill the Great Commission, but for those churches that are struggling the new organization has a tremendous focus on coming along side and really helping the churches that are struggling – but truly desire to do their part for Christ. The new organization shifts the Church Development Team to the Church Vitalization Team, with a new office being added, Church Revitalization. The Church Revitalization Office will work specifically with church leaders who request special assistance.
