RECREATION ADVENTURE CAMPS
Recreation Adventure Camps are designed to introduce people 14 years of age and above to our outdoor world through backpacking, flat-water kayaking, or climbing/rappelling. The Recreation Adventure program consists of five (5) days of adventure within a 40-mile radius of Camp McCall . You may choose any one track from the following options:
Yak & Pak
Yak & Pak is a backpacking track led through the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains as well as through the South Carolina Foothills. All gear is furnished by McCall. Campers experience five (5) days and four (4) nights on the trail of primitive, low-impact camping.
Flat-Water Kayaking
Flat-Water Kayaking is a three (3) or four (4) day trip on beautiful Lake Jocassee. Evenings and nights are spent in campsites along the route. On this trip the camper will see beautiful mountainous scenery, waterfalls, streams, wildlife. Basic kayaking skills and safety are taught on location in and around Lake Chilly Water. All gear is furnished by McCall.
Check-in time for camp: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on the first day of camp
Exit time: Camp will end at 2:00 p.m. on Fridays (Except when these camps are held during the same dates as Lad Camp - these camps are marked with an asterisk*. These marked camps will end with breakfast on Friday mornings.)
Cost is $225.00 per camper.

We will accept mail-in beginning March15, 2008. On-line registration closes as of June 1st, 2008. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DONE BY MAIL ON AND AFTER JUNE 1, 2008.
