The Bivocational Ministry initiative of the South Carolina Baptist Convention has the following vision:

“The South Carolina Baptist Convention is committed to assisting churches with Bivocational Pastors in its task of fulfilling the Great Commission and impacting their culture for the Kingdom and for the Lord Jesus Christ through Worship, Prayer, Discipleship, Ministry, Evangelism and Fellowship.”

Strategic Objectives:

1. Strengthening the local church in the six functions of Worship, Prayer, Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry and Evangelism

2. Supporting Pastors, staff and their families

3. Mobilizing for missions their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the World

4. Multiplication – leading churches to partner with the convention and other churches in the task of beginning new churches and home Bible Study groups.

Our strategic objectives will be accomplished though:

Providing customized consulting in the areas PRAYER (Corporate and Personal), Encouragement (Relevant and Practical), Resources (Customized and Reproducible) and Coaching (Mentoring, Training, Tracking and the Multiplying of Leaders)
