BCMissionary Update 3: Italy

In BCM Missions, Collegiate, Collegiate Ministry, Collegiate Ministry Missions, Evangelism

Our BCMissionaries served in Italy this summer by helping run a camp for Italian children, teaching English and playing games in an interactive environment; serving in an international church in Rome teaching children’s church and Sunday school, leading worship, and doing administrative office work; and working alongside a couple as they established their church plant.

“My favorite part of doing summer missions was getting to encourage the church members in their walk with Christ and see them grow over the course of the summer.”

All of our students wrote about how much they have learned about God and His calling:

“This summer has taught me to not rely on my own understanding and strength, but to rely on God’s.”

“I learned how prayer is an ultimate and powerful time with God…the joy and peace that comes when we fully surrender to God…[and that] His protection and provisions for us as His children are perfect…This summer I was challenged to increase the way I live missionally state-side. I was reminded that all believers are called to make disciples.”

“God is capable of using us for His glory in a multitude of ways. I learned that through the many personalities and gifts people had. I am grateful for His love and that He loves and uses people regardless of my feelings.”

Our BCMissionaries are grateful for the time they spent in Italy and the impact God allowed it to have on them. One student said,

“This summer has immensely impacted my life because it has better equipped me to make disciples, thus having an impact on the Kingdom.”

Thank you for praying for our missions team in Italy!
