Welcome to the 194th Annual Session of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The news and information services at the convention are offered to make your jobs as media professionals as easy as possible.
The Newsroom - You will find work areas, electrical outlets, closed-circuit television, and daily informational bulletins to enable you to cover the sessions from the newsroom. Additionally, wireless connection is available for fast Internet access. The newsroom location will be announced when it is available.

- November 12 - 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
You will be asked to sign in when you arrive at the newsroom for the first time.
The News Staff - Members of the Convention’s Communications Office of the Church Supporting Team will be on hand to support you as you cover sessions. To assist you in your work, the newsroom is off limits to anyone other than authorized personnel. If you should need a place to conduct a one-on-one interview, the newsroom staff will help you schedule a place.
Newsroom services include comprehensive coverage of the Convention. Releases, texts of resolutions and motions, and other information will be made available in the newsroom as quickly as possible. The Convention is an open meeting, and media are allowed to attend all sessions and exhibit areas.
News Releases will be available online and as hard copies in the newsroom. Stories will also be sent to various news outlets via email as soon as possible during the Convention. Releases will also be available at www.scbaptist.org/annualmeeting.
News Conference is scheduled as follows:
2015 Convention President – Wednesday, November 12 – 12 Noon
(immediately following the benediction)
Please consult newsroom personnel for the location of the News Conference and for any changes in this schedule. Video and still cameras will be allowed in the news conference.
