The 2008 January Bible Study focuses on the Book of Romans and four questions people often ask about God: Can I believe in God? Is God still active today? Does God care about me? Does God care how I live?
While these questions were especially pertinent to the Roman Christians, they are still relevant for Christians today. Even long-time believers probably have more questions about God than they will admit. So let Paul’s explanation of his beliefs to Roman Christians long ago help Christians in your church today. Through this relevant study adults will understand that the amazing grace of God is the basis of His salvation and be led to allow themselves to be transformed by it.
With four sessions, each broken out into two lessons, this year’s January Bible Study (JBS) is highly versatile. Hold your JBS during a dedicated week (Sun.—Wed.) or adjust from the traditional four sessions up to eight sessions and use on consecutive Sunday or Wednesday nights. While many churches do begin the New Year with January Bible Study, God’s Amazing Grace: Studies in the Book of Romans is applicable and useful any time of the year.
